All Zip And Sparkle set the pace for the jumper division at the 2008 Pomfret Hunter Pace. He sure is enjoying the freedom of hunter paces and jumping.
Sparkle and I again did the
Ride For The Cure on October 1, 2006. This time, my daughter Taryn rode
with me. Unfortunately the weather did not cooperate. We had heavy
rain all day, and those of us that did brave the weather got thoroughly soaked!
But the lunch and hot soups after the ride warmed us up nicely. Over
$65000.00 was raised this year for the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
On October 2, 2005 Sparkle and I, and Kim and our mare
Rockin' To Impress rode The Ride For The
Cure, at gorgeous Tyrone Farm, in
beautiful Pomfret, CT. The ride is
put on by the Connecticut affiliate of the Susan G Komen Breast Cancer
Foundation. It was a gorgeous day, and over $58000 was raised.
